Statement of Commitment To Smoking & Vaping Free Environment Policy

Preston Baseball Club is committed to a Smoking & Vaping Free Environment to protect members of the Preston Pirates Baseball Club and supporters as well as visiting teams and supporters from the dangers of second-hand smoke and the aerosol from e-cigarettes at Ganbu Dilla Sports Park.

This creates a smoke-free and vape-free environment where children, young people and adults can enjoy themselves without being exposed to harmful second-hand tobacco smoke and the aerosol from e-cigarettes.

​

A total ban on smoking or the use of e-cigarettes (vaping) is in place in all areas within the blue line Ganbu Djila Sports Park including the club rooms, baseball diamond, cages, dugouts, grounds and car park including within 4 metres of the entrances to the car park. The ban also includes all areas within the red line being the Charles La Trobe College grounds and within 4 metres of the entrances to the grounds.
